About This Project

Beginning June 2007, three young men climbed on their bikes in San Francisco, CA. Their goal, to understand not only the grave issue of global warming, but what difference they could make a difference beyond buying fluorescent light-bulbs and hybrid cars.

From that point Ride to Sustain crossed the US for three months, writing a blog [www.celsias.com/ridetosustain][1] giving talks, conducting interviews with scientists, executives, politicians, and filming a documentary about sustainable solutions to global climate change. They are now raising funds to put together the film and working with ClimateCycle.org to organize a second ride this year to raise money for renewable installations on public schools. The ride was sponsored by Celsias, and donations from individuals and small businesses. For more information visit [www.celsias.com/ridetosustain]
