About This Project

Gemini Humanitarian Award winner Mark Terry has made two highly influential films on climate change: The Antarctica Challenge: A Global Warning and The Polar Explorer. His work with the world's scientific community in the polar regions has earned him the Canadian Chapter of The Explorer's Club's highest honor - The Stefansson Medal.
Mark and his films have been invited by the United Nations to screen to world leaders attending the last two climate change conferences in Copenhagen and Cancun.
Today, Mark is spreading his message about the melting polar ice caps at screenings and lectures throughout the world.
If you would like to book Mark and his films at your university, science conference, environmental event or film festival, please email info@polarexplorerfilm.com. For more information on the 2011 to 2012 international tour, please visit www.polarexplorerfilm.com.
