As an escaped IP lawyer I started concentrating on commercialising kool New Zealand technologies about 6 years ago - things like www.syft.com and www.vortexdna.com . This has meant that I spend a lot of time in the USA and I got to 'see' the whole climate change/ cleantech trend starting. I liked the fact that there weren't any rules and so decided to start working on some potential solutions - ones with global impact....things like: Bio-crude oil from wild algae - www.aquaflowgroup.com : Charcoal from waste biomass for carbon sequestration - www.carbonscape.com : and the whole idea that individuals can/ may well hold a significant key to climate change - that the interent is the ideal space to let it all happen - something that became www.celsias.com . Yep, I'm one of the team that got this all going..... Life is fun, I sort of do the hobbit thing and live in a small seaside village - Picton - and then spring into the world from there.....on a sunny day my office is a classic speedboat.....
