REAF is dedicated to increasing our understanding of marine life. While on a physical level we deploy long lasting pH adjusted concrete modules to enhance marine life, on a metaphysical level we also incorporate Maori environmental concepts known collectively as 'kaitiakitanga' together with an examination of the role of ethics in creating a sustainable fishery.
