Description:
Generate sales leads and follow up on office inquiry calls;
Produce sales orders by convincing customers on the merits of the financial, technical and/or environmental properties of a solar system;
Make business decisions relating to the appropriate sales price for a solar system;
Coordinate advertising measures with the marketing department;
Analyze market parameters such as demographic and income data, and business competitors;
Network in the community through attending events such as Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, etc.
Requirements
Two to three years of outside sales experience;
Bachelors Degree from Accredited University;
Ability to work with minimal supervision after appropriate training has been given;
Ability to learn a technical product;
Ability to effectively educate the public about solar electricity;
Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines;
Communicate information both orally and in writing;
Ability to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks;
Clean driving record;
Strong Creativity & Enthusiasm.
