People browsing Celsias will be able to donate directly to any Celsias project via credit card or PayPal account. Project Coordinators will keep donors informed of their project’s progress via their project website on Celsias. Donors will have the ability to rate each project they sponsor on-going performance and report any suspicious activity. We expect this functionality to be available on Celsias in late 2007.

About Businesses Sponsorships
Celsias encourages businesses to help deal with their carbon emissions by sponsoring individuals or teams within their community to undertake meaningful climate change projects. Your company’s logo will appear on the project’s website on Celsias, clearly identifying you as a supporter of a worthy climate change project. About Celsias Foundation
The Celsias Foundation will be registered as a not-for-profit entity separate and distinct from the Celsias website. The Foundation will seek to attract philanthropic capital from corporations, governments, individuals and organizations worldwide. An independent board of governors will be named who will set the Foundation’s goals and policies, and a panel will also be named to review funding applications and select successful candidates. The Foundation is expected to become operational in 2008.
