What Is Your Average kwH Per Day Usage? ,

Peter D. 64°

I saw this question asked on another blog, and I must admit - I have no idea how many kwh's we use. I'm not even sure my metering provides this data.

Do you know what your kwh per day usage is? How are you measuring this? What household items do you find use the most power?

I suspect our ten year old refrigerator 'aint helping matters...

It is easy to measure. Look at your power bill. kWh are the standard electrical units. Take your monthly amount and divide by days per month and you have your daily usage.

There probably is not a whole lot of difference between a 10 and 5 year old refrigerator.
