Are car drivers more likely to be climate skeptics? ,

Joel W.

I'm not sure if this is a stupid question. Maybe I've been naive, but it never really crossed my mind that this might be the case until a blog post I wrote recently pondering why it seems climate deniers are generally old men was posted on a car forum.

It promoted a frenzy of vitriol, abuse and even some threats from car owners. You can read the comments here.

The stuff they wrote on their own website was even more hardcore. You can see it here:

So it got me wondering whether it was just these guys ( they seem to be all men) or car owners in general.

Be interested to know what you think, and if you have any evidence as I'd like to blog about it.

Thanks
