Ontario Solar Feed-in Tariff = 80 cents per kwh,

Ontario has proposed new feed-in tariffs for solar, wind, hydro, biogas, biomass and alndfill-gas. The rate for residential rooftop solar PV has increased from 42 cents to 80.2 cents per kilowatt hour.

In line with the expected increase in demand for solar, a new $500 million thin-film solar manufacturing plant was announced Thursday, in Kingston, Ontario.
