WWF Ads Target Alaskan Constituents

Kate R.

Over the last ten days a WWF campaign has targeted voters in Alaska encouraging them to contact Senators Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and Mark Begich (D-Alaska) and ask them to support climate legislation. WWF argue that Alaska is feeling the impacts of climate change more than any other state, and therefore, its Senators could play a key role in reaching a solution on the climate change issue.

WWF's ads urge people to help those who cannot help themselves and feature  animals attempting to call Senate offices to initiate action on climate legislation. You can watch one of the ads below...

And if that tickled your fancy, check out this other clip. It shows how and why the ads were made.

WWF argue that climate change is one of the greatest threats to wildlife and nature and urge people to get involved and pressure senators to take positive action. This is the second time, in recent weeks, that their campaigns have been featured on Celsias. Last week I wrote about a plea to Barack Obama orchestrated by a number of concerned children, in association with WWF, and you can view that video here.
