A Video History of Earth Day

Midori Takata

Today, April 22nd 2008, is Earth Day.  Beginning in 1970, Earth Day has been a major turning point in how people around the planet address environmental issues.  While numerous activism days have since taken place on every topic from water to wildlife to climate change, Earth Day can be remembered as one of the first major steps forward in the movement.  For some easy things you can do to make a difference in our world, visit the Actions section.  At Celsias, we think each day should be Earth Day.  Get involved and be the difference.  Special thanks to Midori Takata and our friends at Earth Protect.
