In case you needed further proof about how serious global warming has become, two mortal (and possibly immortal) enemies have temporarily put aside their differences to help combat climate change.

Civil rights activist Reverend Al Sharpton and televangelist Pat Robertson appeared in the same public service announcement about global warming without killing each other. Appropriately, Sharpton sits on the viewer's left and Robertson on the right.

The PSA was funded by Al Gore's Alliance for Climate Protection (WeCanSolveIt.com). The point was that people with violently different points of view on religion and politics still can agree that something needs to be done about global warming.

Perhaps it will take frightening spokespersons to make America pay attention to a frightening problem.
