THIS SATURDAY: GLOBAL CLIMATE DAY OF ACTION

Chris Tobias

350orgIn honour of Global Climate Day of Action, on Saturday 6 December 2008, we implore you to take action.  At Celsias, we have a range of ideas and activities available to choose from on our website.  Large activity or small, get out and get involved!

Also, we would like to offer our support to our friends at 350.org who are also helping coordinate a wide range of activities.  They are a great organisation that are spreading awareness about carbon levels and climate safety.  All around the world communities are taking action to spread the number 350, the safe level of CO2 in the atmosphere measured in parts per million, and make sure world leaders are on course to reach that target.

Whatever you do, let us know what you get up to.  Send us your stories, your pictures, and news from your side of the world.  We are looking forward to featuring your actions across the weekend, so drop me an email: chris@celsias.com.  Speaking for myself, I'm heading out to permaculture class to learn how to grow my own food, and traveling by bus.  It's part of my personal commitment to decrease my carbon footprint and take personal responsibility for my own food supply.

Get involved and have a great weekend!
