How many cell phones have you thrown away already? Since cell phones became a throw-away item with a lifespan of, maybe, 18 months, the problem of the accumulation of toxic metals in the environment, and the waste of valuable mined ore (like gold) has gotten some people a bit concerned.

 

Where can you take your cell phones? Here's a list for those of you living in the United States.
