For those of us across the globe interested in enacting change in the face of climate meltdown, the pessimist and hopeless thinker are characters we’ve all most likely encountered. Those of our friends, family and fellow bloggers who ask why we’re working on green issues when we “only have five more years before things go very downhill.” Others who say that our end due to global warming is “inevitable” and thus our work to fight it, useless. We also see news each day of animals nearing extinction, rising asthma rates and water levels, and Renewable Energy Bills failing to pass.
In the face of this weighted reality, I often look for good and hopeful green news. I hope to relay a little “dose” of this optimism at the start of each week for you, the readers of Celsias.
