The average ocean temperatures for last month were the highest ever recorded. For those of you keeping score at home, it's 1.06 degrees higher than the 20th-century average.

India's State of Environment Report was published for the first time in eight years, and it's a doozy. Supported by sattelite imagery, the report claims 45% of Indian land is environmentally degraded, air pollution has risen, flora and fauna are diminishing, and a water crisis may be looming.

To those of who ever accused those of us don't sleep much of being mutants - you're right.
