Why not take your new beta Celsias site for a test ride here? In addition to the climate change blog you know (and hopefully love!) the new site introduces Projects, People, and Funding.

Projects is where you can create a climate change project, and will soon be able to recruit talent and request donations. For example, take a look at these projects:

• The World Wildlife Foundation’s marine conservation program
• Colin Davis’ Ride to Sustain to interview climate change leaders between San Francisco and Boston
• Micro-hydroelectric turbines to electrify rural Guatemala
• Native bird breeding and re-introduction in New Zealand

We are also introducing People, where individuals who care deeply about our planet can:

• Post their own climate change stories and anecdotes
• Add pictures (and soon videos)
• Upload their resumes/CV’s (even sooner!)
• Communicate with others who share their passion for doing something about global warming

Finally, we will soon be launching Funding where you will have the ability to support climate change projects profiled on Celsias via a credit card or PayPal donation.

We Want to Hear From You

Now, friends, this is no time to be polite so give it to us straight (you can always apologize later if you happen to offend someone here!) We definitely want to hear about your likes, dislikes or what you want see changed on the new site. Our design team will consider your suggestions carefully so watch for the changes you propose (and we will try to credit good ideas to those who brought them to our attention first!)
