Lower the temperature of my house by two degrees, 516°

By lowering the temperature in our homes, we consume less electricity or natural gas - and that's in turn puts less CO2 up the pipe and into the atmosphere!

We don't have a thermostat - we just heat the rooms we're in, and only when we need to.

Some rooms (the bathroom and kitchen) we never heat.

We don't have a thermostat or central heating system either, so this one's pretty easy... I put a lot of extra clothes on before I will resort to heating the room. After all, it's the person in the room I want to be warm, not the room itself.

In the winter I keep the thermostat at 62 degrees, and it's comfortable for me. If I need to, I put a sweater on. People think I'm crazy, but, hey, it works for me!

Measurements with a small thermometer, or by detection of heat radiation, can show that the temperature of a body of material can vary from time to time and from place to place within it. If changes happen too fast, or with too small a spacing, within a body, it may be impossible to define its temperature.

Is it really possible to lower the temperatures of our house to keep the electricity bills within the budget? If so I would like to know how it has to be done as we are having huge bills for the last few months. I really want a solution for the situation.

A temperature is a numerical measure of hot and cold. Its measurement is by detection of heat radiation, particle velocity, kinetic energy, or most commonly, by the bulk behavior of a thermometric material.

Save electricity at the expense of freezing, that's a good one to think about. But I think, saving money is always a good thing.

Size using a little thermometer, or even through diagnosis connected with high temperature light, can easily indicate how the temperature of an body connected with stuff will vary every now and then and by destination to place within the idea. In case alterations happen far too fast, or even having far too little a spacing, just a body, it may be extremely hard in order to establish the temperature. Hence the idea of temperature generally speaking has an empirical articles.
