Taking the bus or taking the train is a great way to reduce the transport component of your carbon footprint.
I've assessed how much it would cost me to do this, and it's not quite economically viable yet. Give petrol prices another month or two and it will be. At that point I will switch. Currently carpooling.

Please sign my petition "Stop Misleading Energy Pipedreams." Remind Congress that we don’t want to be misled into conclusions based on distracting statements that suggest that energy “independence” substitutes for real energy security.
