Celsias Milestone Alert: a Message from Ed

Craig Mackintosh

Celsias is moving forward!
Yesterday, as we hope you noticed, Nick, our CEO let the cat out of the bag on the future of your Celsias community.

I thought I'd follow up and mention that this is a significant waymark for me, in that we've now progressed to the point where we can start pulling our readership into the loop. I've personally been greatly looking forward to this day, as, from a blog editor's point of view, this milestone marks the point where other editors are finally able to 'file' us in the appropriate slot in their mental computations. In other words: up until today we've been observed as a fast-growing blog, but our direction has remained unclear - something I've been very conscious of. This has been necessary, of course, to ensure our concepts were not diluted through poorly executed imitation by others. Now that we're able to share our plans, which we'll be doing more fully over the days ahead, other bloggers will begin to see how they can ally themselves with us - recognising we're not a threat, or 'competition' (if there can be such a thing in environmentalism) - and, on the contrary, that we hold promise of being able to powerfully augment their efforts, and the efforts of their readership.

This holds true not just for bloggers - but legions of websites, businesses, projects and individuals, who we hope to see coming out of the woodwork over the weeks ahead.

As such, this is a good time to become active on this front. The post mentioned above is a post to share (you can use the 'forward this story' link found below the post).

We'll be expanding on this initial post over the ensuing days and weeks - garnering feedback as we go, and hopefully provoking considerable interest before our upcoming launch.

Thanks again for your continued support. At an international level there is a great deal to be done, and we hope Celsias will play a sizeable role in effecting positive change.
