Resources for the Future is pleased to host a special seminar on the economics of climate change featuring a discussion on the recently released Stern Review: The Economics of Climate Change. Compiled by Sir Nicholas Stern, head of the United Kingdom's Government Economics Service and adviser to the U.K. government on the economics of climate change and development, the Stern Review is the first major government-sponsored benefit-cost analysis of climate change.

This technical seminar provides a rare public opportunity in the United States for members of the Stern Review team and outside experts to discuss and answer questions about the methodologies and conclusions of the Stern Review and the economic analysis of climate change more generally. One hour of the event will be dedicated to addressing questions from attendees in order to engage in a broader discussion of these issues.
